Fixed Ladder Price

Fixed Ladder Price

A fixed ladder price is built from five cost drivers — not a flat sticker number. When you understand the drivers, you can engineer the cost out of your spec.

Material Grade & Weight

Priced per kg. Q235B structural steel is the entry point; SS304 and SS316 carry a grade premium that shows up as a line item.

Machining

CNC cutting, mitring and drilling are quoted per operation. Standard rung spacing keeps the number predictable.

Welding

Structural welds to ISO 5817 are counted per joint — rung-to-stile, cage hoops, platform and gate connections.

Surface Treatment

Hot-dip galvanizing 85–100 μm (ISO 1461), powder coat or pickled finish — priced by kg or m² of treated surface.

Packaging

VCI rust paper, shrink film and an ISPM 15 heat-treated crate — quoted per set so nothing gets lost in freight.

Fixed Ladder Cost Breakdown

Itemized by Weight & Process — Never a Flat Sticker

Every Dengtai ladder is quoted by actual steel weight plus the processes that turn it into a compliant access system. Compare our cost breakdown line by line — there is no middleman markup and no surprise line.

  • Priced per kg — a taller, heavier ladder costs more because it uses more steel
  • Process lines — machining, welding, finishing, packaging — shown as separate items
  • Engineering and compliance docs included at no cost — DoC, MTC 3.1, structural calcs

Configurations

Fixed Ladder Cost Options & Configurations

Every configuration is quoted on the same itemized basis — so you can price the difference between options before you order.

Caged steel fixed ladder price option

Caged Configuration

Adds cage hoops and verticals — roughly one extra steel-weight line item plus the associated welding joints.

Stainless steel walk-thru fixed ladder cost

Walk-Thru Configuration

A walk-thru platform replaces the top rungs — priced as platform steel plus a swing gate assembly.

Aluminum wall-mounted fixed ladder price

Wall-Mounted Configuration

Wall brackets at specified spacing — each bracket is a machining + welding line item, so closer spacing shows in the price.

Specifications

Fixed Ladder Price Specifications & Dimensions

The spec drives the price. Standard heights 10–25 ft, full custom engineering available up to 40 ft. Rung spacing, clear width and cage diameter all follow the same 1.2-2 parameters.

Certifications

Compliance & DoCumentation (OSHA/BS 4211/EN ISO 14122-4)

Full compliance docs are included in the price — DoC, MTC 3.1, structural calcs. A lower price is only a good price when the paperwork proves the ladder meets the standard.

  • OSHA 1910.27 — Full Compliance
  • BS 4211:2005+A1:2015
  • EN ISO 14122-4
  • AS 1657
  • Cal/OSHA Title 8
DoCs included in price: every order ships with a Declaration of Conformity, MTC 3.1 material certificates and structural calculations — no extra cost, no paywall.

Documentation Package

Part of the fixed ladder cost you approve — never billed separately.

  • Declaration of Conformity (DoC)
  • Material Test Certificates — EN 10204 3.1
  • Structural Calculations
  • Welding Procedure Specifications
  • Surface treatment certificates (HDG per ISO 1461)
All documents included free with every order.
Quick Answers

Common questions

What lines appear in a fixed ladder cost quote?

Your itemized quote lists material, machining, surface treatment, packaging and freight as separate lines — with DoC, MTC 3.1 and structural calcs included free.

What does hot-dip galvanizing add to the price?

HDG at 85–100 μm per ISO 1461 adds roughly ¥600–1,200 per ton of steel, versus painted finishes at ¥80–150 per m² — shown as its own line on the quote.

Why does a caged ladder cost more than an open ladder?

The cage adds Φ700 mm hoops, vertical bars and extra weld joints — more steel weight and machining time than an open ladder of the same height.

Are drawing revisions billed separately?

No — the drawing review and revision rounds before ordering are free; you only pay once the final drawing is confirmed for production.

How is the steel weight of my ladder calculated?

Weight is calculated from your drawing — stile profile, rung count at 280 mm pitch and cage hoops — and confirmed in the structural calculation report before quoting.

How a Fixed Ladder Price Is Actually Built

No flat sticker price. Every fixed ladder cost is calculated line by line — material, machining, surface treatment, packaging and margin — from your exact drawing. These are the real rates behind the number.

Material — SS304≈ ¥15,000 / tonStainless grade, ≈3.7× Q235B, for food, chemical and humid environments

Worked Example — FL-12M

12 m hot-dip galvanized Q235B ladder with safety cage, ≈0.26 t steel (reference; precise weight per structural calculation report).

  • Material — 0.26 t × ¥4,000/t
    ¥1,040
  • Machining — 0.26 t × ¥1,500/t
    ¥390
  • Galvanizing — 0.26 t × ¥900/t
    ¥234
  • Packaging — VCI + crate
    ¥150
  • Cost subtotal
    ≈ ¥1,814 (≈ USD 250)
  • × 1.30 margin → reference FOB
    ≈ USD 325

What Moves the Number

6 Factors That Change a Fixed Ladder Price

  • 1. Material grade & steel weight

    The largest line. Q235B ≈ ¥4,000/t, SS304 ≈ ¥15,000/t, SS316 ≈ ¥32,500/t — a stainless spec can multiply the material line ≈8×.

  • 2. Height & configuration

More height means more steel and longer machining. A safety cage adds hoops and vertical bars — extra weight and welding joints.

  • 3. Machining complexity

Standard rung spacing (Φ20 @ 280 mm) keeps cutting and welding predictable. Custom steps, mitred ends or walk-through openings add process time at ¥1,000–2,000/t.

  • 4. Surface treatment

HDG 85–100 μm (ISO 1461) ≈ ¥600–1,200/t; two-coat painting ≈ ¥80–150/m². Outdoor industrial specs pay a little more and last years longer.

  • 5. Packaging & export handling

VCI, vacuum wrap and ISPM 15 crating ≈ ¥100–300/set — shown as a line so freight and customs never surprise you.

  • 6. Quantity & timing

No hard MOQ. Batch orders ≥ 100 linear meters get preferred pricing; express production (10–15 working days) carries a 20–30% surcharge.

Why no fixed price list?

Every ladder is made to drawing, so we quote itemized — material, machining, finishing, packaging — within 24 hours. You see exactly what you pay for.

Why is SS316 so much more expensive?

SS316 ≈ ¥32,500/t vs Q235B ≈ ¥4,000/t. The molybdenum content drives the premium (≈2.2× SS304) — the right call for marine and chemical exposure.

Is the USD 325 FL-12M reference a firm price?

No — it is an estimated anchor (12 m HDG Q235B with cage, 30% margin). Your fixed ladder cost is calculated from your actual drawing and current metal rates.

Are DoC, MTC and structural calcs really free?

Yes. Declaration of Conformity, EN 10204 3.1 material certificates and structural calculations ship with every order — no paywall, no extra line.
