Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 12, 2026
These terms govern quotations, payment, warranty and liability for fixed ladders supplied by Dengtai (Shijiazhuang). A signed proforma invoice incorporates these terms by reference.
Quotations & Validity
- 1All quotations are valid for 15 days from the quote date, unless stated otherwise on the quote itself.
- 2Every ladder is made to order. Pricing is calculated by weight and process — material, machining, finishing and packaging are itemized line by line with no hidden markup.
- 3Published figures such as the industry reference of USD 899–1,099/ton for caged ladders are indicative only and never a commitment to price.
- 4Quotes are based on the information you provide. Material or dimensional changes after approval may adjust the price and schedule.
Payment Terms
Our standard terms keep both sides protected — a deposit to reserve production, and the balance before shipment.
| Method | Terms | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Bank transfer (T/T) | 50% deposit + 50% before shipment | Standard for all orders |
| Bank transfer (T/T) | 30% / 70% | Negotiable on repeat orders |
| Letter of Credit | L/C at sight | Available for larger orders, on request |
- Full bank details are sent only with your proforma invoice — never requested by email.
- Trade terms EXW / FOB / CIF are stated on each proforma invoice and quote.
- Production starts after the deposit clears; lead time is 15–25 business days.
Warranty (12 Months)
Every fixed ladder is covered by a 12-month warranty on materials and workmanship from the date of shipment.
Covered
Manufacturing defects, weld quality, and coating failures not caused by site conditions or misuse.
Not Covered
Damage from improper installation, field modification, or environments beyond the specified finish rating.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Dengtai's total liability for any claim arising from a single order is limited to the contract value of that order.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost production or lost profits.
- Compliance with local safety standards (e.g. OSHA, BS 4211, EN ISO 14122-4) is the buyer's responsibility for the installed application.
- Any claim must be reported in writing within 14 days of receipt of goods, referencing the proforma invoice number.
