Fixed Ladder Rungs
The rung is the part a climber stands on every single trip, so we do not compromise on it. Our standard is a 20 mm round steel bar welded end-to-end into the side rails at 280 mm centers.
20 mm round bar
Φ20 mm (0.79 in) solid steel — comfortable grip, no sharp edges.
280 mm pitch
Rung spacing of 280 mm (11 in), within the ≤300 mm / 12-inch OSHA rule.
1.5 kN per rung
Minimum concentrated load rating; heavy-duty engineered on request.
Welded, not bolted
Full weld into the side rail per WPS — no loosening over years of use.
Replacement rungs, low MOQ
Need to refurbish an old ladder? Order replacement rungs in small quantities.

Common questions
Φ20 mm round steel bar — Q235B carbon, or SS304/SS316 stainless on request; galvanized per ISO 1461 when specified.
Yes — knurled or serrated rungs are available for wet or oily environments, in carbon steel or stainless.
OSHA requires at least 0.75 in (19 mm); our standard Φ20 mm (0.79 in) exceeds it with margin for the 1.5 kN rating.
Both — single replacement rungs or full sets, quoted as line items with low MOQ, matched to your hole pattern.
Full fillet weld to ISO 5817 Level C as standard; bolted rungs available for field replacement without welding.
Fixed Ladder Rungs
Fixed Ladder Rungs — Φ20 mm, 280 mm Pitch, Replaceable
Rungs take every climb — and every climber. Ours are Φ20 mm round steel at 280 mm pitch, rated 1.5 kN, and available as replacement line items so you repair instead of rebuild.
