Slip Resistance Under Process Conditions
Knurled Φ20 mm rungs keep footing in oil, water and dust — the surface is machined at the factory, not added on site. For washdown areas we spec SS304 so the anti-slip profile never rusts out.
Heavy-Duty Q345B
When a ladder carries maintenance crews plus tools and spares, we move from Q235B to high-strength Q345B — the same logic used on 15–24 m offshore access ladders for an ADNOC platform project.
Fall Protection & Platform Spacing
New ladders above 24 ft need a PFAS rail under OSHA 1910.28. Below that, rest platforms every 15 m break the climb for two-shift traffic and give inspectors a safe standing point.
Fixed Industrial Ladder Questions
OSHA requires rungs spaced uniformly, 10–14 inches (254–356 mm) apart. Our standard build is 280 mm (11″), equal spacing throughout the climb.
New ladders over 24 ft (7.3 m) need a PFAS rail under OSHA 1910.28; cages are accepted only through the transition period. We quote the compliant option based on your actual height.
Yes — Q345B high-strength builds for heavy loads and SS316 builds for corrosive atmospheres, with SS316 fixings throughout. Reference projects include oil refineries, chemical plants and offshore platforms.
